Famous Danish clockmaker, like his father. Perfected his skills in Le Locle with Houriet, then in Paris with Berthoud and Breguet, and lastly in London with Arnold. In 1801, married Houriet's daughter and settled in Copenaghen. Specialized in precision watches and precision nautical clocks.
