Signature on the terrestrial globes made by the firm established in Paris in the eighteenth century by Charles-François Delamarche (1740-1817). The specimens in the collection of the Museo Galileo indicate the workshop's successive changes of address in the nineteenth century. In c. 1805, it was located at 13 Rue du Jardinet; other addresses were 7 Rue du Battoir and 25 Rue Serpente.
