    • Movement and quadrant from a longcase clock (inv. 3591)

Brass dial of a long-case clock signed "Pietro Nicodemi, Firenze" in the upper lunette. The name is not recorded in the clockmakers' registers. There are Roman hour numerals and Arabic minute numerals. The hands are not original. The movement has two upright brass plates. Only the going train survives. The verge escapement has a horizontal contrate wheel and a short pendulum integral with the verge. The purpose of the large space between the dial and the inner plate carrying the hands mechanism is unclear.
