Cistern barometer mounted on a wooden base. The top is decorated with a wooden tympanum and a brass sphere. The mercury level is adjusted by means of a screw acting on the leather bottom of the cistern. The barometric scale, divided into Paris inches, is drawn on paper with floral decorations.
